Hubby and I made a belly cast over 7 yrs ago when I was pregnant with Camille. I had good intentions of painting it but then life happened.

It stayed in the basement for 7 years. Found it when we cleaned out the basement for renos and I decided to contact Forever Bellies to have this keepsake finished.

So happy I did. Also happy it took this long to be completed. It is way more personal than I had originally, 7 years ago planned.

The original belly cast was in ok condition but needed to be recast so it could be painted. I got to pick the shape of the top of the chest. I had an idea of what I wanted: butterflies, rainbows, full moon, water and sea turtles. Inspiration pictures were exchanged and @Forever Bellies went with it and created this beauty. Both my daughter and myself are very pleased with this piece of art. Thank you!

There are not enough words to express how completely obsessed I am with my belly cast! For three years it sat in my basement collecting dust and now it’s a literal piece of art I get to look at every day.

I can’t stop looking at how absolutely amazing it is and how beautifully Dana recreated my vision! The memories this will always remind me of are some of my very favorite.

What an amazing keepsake for our baby girl! Dana was awesome to work with while she casted my belly and helped me pick a theme for my bowl. I didn’t know what I was having so it wasn’t super easy to choose a theme. I always loved stones which led to an aquamarine theme since it would be my baby’s birthstone. l thought geode idea and discussed ideas with Dana. She did the outer side how a raw geode looks before its cut, revealing a beautiful aquamarine geode belly bowl on the inside! WE LOVE IT!!! Our baby is 3 months now and still fits it! The bowl sits on the stand on our dining table and is a beautiful centerpiece and conversation piece. Thank you Dana, can’t wait to have another baby so I can get another bow!

Dana is not only a great artist but very professional and easy to work with. She made the whole process really fun and relaxing. The day she called to let us know that the bowl was ready was the day we had our baby boy and my husband picked it up on his first day of life!

We discussed the shape and colours but the final result exceeded my expectations. Something that cannot be seen from the photos is the quality, we were amazed how well it was built and the finish doesn't scratch. We're super happy with our choice.

The more I look at my bowl the more I love it.
